Maternity Omega fish oil capsules are thoughtfully developed to support you during one of life’s most important stages, pregnancy and breastfeeding. These food supplement fish oil capsules are specially formulated for pregnant and breastfeeding women, with a high content of DHA, an omega-3 fatty acid that plays a role in your baby’s normal brain and eye development.

Why Omega-3 matters?

Did you know that maternal intake of DHA during pregnancy and breastfeeding contributes to the normal development of the brain and eyes of the foetus and breastfed infants? DHA also helps maintain normal brain function and vision.

The beneficial effect for foetus and breastfed infant development is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults (250 mg DHA and EPA). The beneficial effect for brain and vision is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg DHA.

  • A food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. It is also important to have a diverse and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
  • Not recommended for people with impaired blood clotting.
  • The product does not contain fish protein, but the most sensitive fish allergy sufferers can experience symptoms.

Recommended daily dose: Take 1–2 capsules daily, or as recommended by your healthcare provider. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
