Baby Vitamin D3 Drops 10 mcg provides a convenient way to ensure your child gets their daily recommended intake of Vitamin D3. This oil-based supplement is suitable from infancy and its vitamin D is needed for normal growth and development of bone and contributes to the normal function of the immune system in children. 

Easy to mix with food or drink, they can also be given directly from a spoon. Each bottle contains approximately 330 drops, providing up to 66 full servings.

Food supplement

The recommended daily dose (5 drops) contains 10 microg* vitamin D3.

*200 % of the daily reference intake. One drop is 2 mcg of vitamin D3. The recommended daily dose must not be exceeded. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of the reach of young children.

Why does my baby need a vitamin D supplement?
Vitamin D is essential for normal growth and development of bones in children and supports the normal function of the immune system. Breast milk alone does not provide enough vitamin D, and babies cannot safely get sufficient vitamin D from sun exposure. The National Food Agency recommends vitamin D supplementation for all infants from birth.

What is the recommended dose and how should I give it?
Give 5 drops daily according to the recommendations. Each dose (5 drops) provides 10 micrograms of vitamin D3. The drops can be given directly on a spoon or mixed into food or drink. One drop contains 2 micrograms of vitamin D3.

What type of vitamin D is used in this product?
This product contains vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), which is the form of vitamin D most easily absorbed by the body. The vitamin D is sourced from Switzerland.

What ingredients are in Baby Vitamin D3 Drops?
The drops contain only three ingredients: MCT oil (RSPO-certified palm kernel oil) as the carrier. Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) as the active ingredient. Alpha-tocopherol as an antioxidant. The product is free from preservatives, colorants, and flavorings.

How long does one bottle last and how should I store it?
Each 10 ml bottle contains about 330 drops, which equals up to 66 doses (approximately 2 months of daily use). Store at room temperature. Once opened, the product is good for 6 months. Unopened, it lasts until the best-before date at room temperature.

From what age can I start giving these drops to my baby?
The drops are suitable from infancy and can be started from birth. It is recommended that all babies receive vitamin D supplementation from the first days of life.

Can I give more than the recommended dose to my baby?
No, the recommended daily dose (5 drops = 10 mcg, which equals 200% of the daily reference intake) should not be exceeded. Supplements should not replace a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Always keep out of reach of children.
